Tanecia Natto brings more than 15 years of combined education and experience in the legal profession. She earned her Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law and has built her career primarily in personal injury litigation. Most recently, she dedicated more than six years to representing clients in complex medical malpractice and catastrophic injury cases as a senior paralegal.

Born in Jamaica, Tanecia was raised by parents who exemplified service, integrity, and dedication to others. Her father served as a police officer and became her very first role model, instilling in her a profound respect for the law, justice, and public service. Her mother, a nurse, demonstrated the values of compassion, empathy, and selfless care for others. Together, they inspired Tanecia to pursue a life dedicated to helping people and making a meaningful difference.

Tanecia first realized she wanted to become an attorney after participating in her first formal debate in high school. Assigned to argue against the traditional belief that a woman’s place was confined to the home, she passionately advocated for women’s equality, independence, and limitless potential. The experience ignited a lifelong passion for advocacy and confirmed her desire to pursue a career in law. Her leadership abilities quickly emerged as she was elected President of her high school’s Debating Society and later served as President of the Student Council, where she developed the confidence, public speaking skills, and leadership qualities that continue to define her today.

Determined to turn that dream into reality, Tanecia immigrated to the United States to pursue higher education and create opportunities through hard work and perseverance. She began her academic journey at Broward College, where she graduated with honors and served as President of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. During her tenure, she was selected as one of only 60 students nationwide to receive the prestigious All-USA Academic Award, an honor recognizing the nation’s top community college scholars and featured in USA Today. This achievement earned her a full scholarship to Florida International University, where she completed her Bachelor of Business Administration with Honors in International Business.

Committed to lifelong learning, Tanecia continued her education by earning a Master of International Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University before ultimately fulfilling her dream of attending law school and earning her Juris Doctor.

While each of her academic accomplishments has played an important role in shaping her career, Tanecia credits her Paralegal Certificate from Florida Atlantic University as the foundation of her professional journey. It was there that she built lasting relationships with accomplished attorney-professors and classmates who have remained valued colleagues and friends throughout her career. Among them was Michelle Delong, Esq. The two spent countless hours studying together, tackling some of the program’s most challenging assignments, and consistently excelling on exams through their shared commitment to excellence. At the time, neither could have anticipated that their separate journeys would eventually come full circle, allowing them to work side by side years later. Today, they combine decades of education, legal knowledge, and practical experience to advocate for their clients and approach every case with dedication, compassion, and professionalism.

Tanecia is the proud mother of two daughters, Alexandra and Anaxana Natto. Both are currently pursuing higher education, with Anaxana studying Pre-Veterinary Medicine and Alexandra aspiring to become a cardiothoracic surgeon.

Since the age of seven, both daughters have trained in Taekwondo and have earned their black belts through years of discipline and perseverance. They have competed successfully at both the national and international levels, proudly representing the United States and earning numerous podium finishes. As senior athletes, they now represent the Jamaica National Taekwondo Team, competing internationally while pursuing their Olympic dreams. Tanecia enjoys traveling with her daughters around the world to support their athletic aspirations and celebrate their achievements.

When she is not working or traveling, Tanecia enjoys reading, going to the movies, playing pickleball, and spending quality time with family and friends. She believes that true success comes from maintaining a healthy balance between professional ambition and personal fulfillment, embracing the philosophy of working hard while also making time to enjoy life.

Her favorite quote perfectly reflects the principles by which she lives:

“We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.” —
