File a Complaint with AHCA – Florida’s Agency for Healthcare Administration Complaint portal allows consumers to file a complaint against a healthcare facility such as a hospital, nursing home, or assisted living facility.
File a Complaint with the FL DOH – Florida’s Department of Health Complaint portal allows consumers to file a complaint against a medical provider or healthcare facility that he or she believes breached the standard of care, (i.e., committed negligence or abuse).
FMRA – Florida Medical Rights Association is an advocacy group fighting to repeal Florida’s Free Kill Law. Florida Statute Section 768.21(8), which has been dubbed Florida’s Free Kill Law, denies access to the courts to unmarried adults without minor children (age 25 or under) who die as a result of medical malpractice. Without a statutory survivor, no one can bring a claim on their behalf.
